Meta is all set to bring back its AI chatbot in a whole new avatar. According to an exclusive report by Reuters, the Facebook owner will announce this week that they have signed deals with some of the biggest celebrities to lend their voice to the chatbot, including WWE superstar John Cena.
The report has confirmed that the celebs who have agreed to let Meta use their voices include Judi Dench, Kristen Bell, Awkwafina and Keegan-Michael Key.Wrestling fans can expect to hear the voice of the 16-time World Champion as the chatbot in the not so distant future.
John Cena to lend his voice to Meta’s AI chatbot
This exciting news was shared to Reuters by a reliable source close familiar with Meta’s plans. The report states that the social media giant will make the official announcement at the Meta Connect 2024 event. When this feature is released, users can choose a voice for their personal Meta AI digital assistant, from the list of five celebs mentioned above, as well as the generic voices.
The source also told Reuters that the celebrity voice features will arrive in the United States, and other English speaking regions, across the slew of Meta apps such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
It was Bloomberg that had first reported that Meta was in talks with many globally renowned celebrities to use their voices for their AI projects. It seems that the discussions have finally come to fruition. The only thing that remains is to get the official announcement which should be arriving very soon indeed.
Additionally, CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg had recently taken to his Instagram to share a cool promotional video for their Ray-Ban Meta glasses, which featured John Cena, along with Matthew Vaughn, and Benson Boone. At the Connect 2024 conference, there will be further discussions about the Ray-Ban smart glasses, and Meta is also expected to unveil the very first version of their augmented-reality glasses.
Meanwhile, fans are excited to see WWE veteran John Cena back in WrestleMania 41, which is all set to take place next year in April 2025. He has confirmed that it will be his final appearance at WrestleMania, and that he will bid adieu to the ring for good by the end of 2025.
